Things to do while Downtown
The convention center itself has a food court, several coffee shops and off to the side food vendors, plus vending machines.
However, Columbus Convention Center sits in one of Ohio’s best food-and-art hubs: the Short North.
Within a short walk you’ll find galleries, murals, and plenty of spots for pre- or post-bout fuel.
North Market is the quick go-to: ramen, shawarma, pasta, pastries, and a victory scoop at Jeni’s, the artisan local ice cream shop.
Up for a little walking adventure?
Goodale Park is close by, and the Scioto Mile riverfront path is great walking adventure.
Into Coffee? There are several indie cafés up and down High Street.
If you’ve got an evening free, browse Short North galleries and street art, or head a few blocks west to the Arena District for bars, casual bites, or a live show.
Everything here is walkable.
